About Me

I have always been a planner. While some people are dreamers and others are doers, I am someone who can bridge the gap between the two. I have had many roles throughout my life, including daughter, sister, wife, mother, hairstylist (I am currently a licensed cosmetologist), preschool teacher, loan officer, assistant branch manager, client relations manager, and community volunteer. However, what ties all of these roles together is my ability to turn "someone should..." into "someone did."

I grew up in Shelley, Idaho, but now reside in Idaho Falls. This area has provided me with ample opportunities to develop my skills in planning, organizing, and implementing. As a mother of three, I have volunteered at numerous fundraising events for various sports teams and booster clubs. Additionally, I have been involved in non-profit organizations, serving as a board member for the Idaho Period Project and helping refurbish and restore Funland at the Idaho Falls Zoo.

The only time I struggled with coordinating my plans was during my daughter's wedding. As a wedding planner, this may seem like a negative detail, but it taught me an important lesson. The best-laid plans are meaningless if you don't have someone who can execute them on the day of the event. I wanted to be there for my daughter on her special day, not worrying about table settings and vendor questions. However, when the mother of another soon-to-be bride called me for help, I knew exactly what she needed - someone who could take charge and allow her to enjoy the day with her daughter.  She needed me to be her so that she could focus on being her daughter’s mother!

That wedding in 2019 was my first official job as a wedding planner, leading to many more. With each event, I learned more about the industry, vendors, and how to handle any situation. I am now armed with the experience and knowledge necessary to help hosts and guests enjoy every moment of their special event without worrying about the details.
